Financial Analyst

Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the development of meaningful client debt cancellation reporting, specifically managing day‑to‑day development and production process in coordination with systems team to generate custom daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi‑annually, and ad hoc reporting as needed for the custom client branded programs. Manages the deployment of client reporting across all functional areas, conveying a 360‑degree review of the clients’ debt cancellation program. Coordinates with AIM functional teams and partners to ensure timely distribution of all reporting. Supports the VP of Reporting in organizing tasks and information to deploy meaningful client reporting while meeting or exceeding client expectations. Qualifications Required Experience 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis (preferred). Bachelor’s degree (preferred). SQL experience critical; 3–5 years of T‑SQL (tested on site). Expert user of MS Office suite – Excel, Access, PowerPoint (tested on site). Ability to present and communicate in written and oral form to clients. Detailed Duties and Responsibilities (On‑site) Write, deploy, and maintain queries and stored procedures to support internal and client delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, as well as analytical support and data requests. Create / update programming reporting data and deliver final forms via Excel, Access or other acceptable form for custom client reporting. Write batch files or VBS scripts in support of reporting automation. Coordinate the gathering of client data from functional areas for review and input into client reports. Review and assess data being reported, alerting team members of any issues or trends. Deliver custom reporting to clients on a timely basis via email, FTP sites, etc. Document and maintain records of report development work and communicate progress to AIM team members and clients. Publish an inventory of reports and other contact points periodically. Maintain reference tables in support of accurate client reporting. Plan and prepare for new clients, programs, and reports in the day‑to‑day process, working with data providers and developing new reports. Maintain a work structure and records to enable extensive multi‑tasking while tracking deliverables and deadlines, reprioritizing tasks as needed. Maintain good working relations with client contacts, key team members, and external resources. Attend to details with excellent written and verbal communication skills, extreme detail focus to avoid re‑work and errors, and 100% follow‑through on outstanding items.
