Business Development Specialist

Job Title: Business Development Executive – Media & Localization Services Location: Los Angeles, CA or Reston, VA About the Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development professional with experience in Media, Entertainment, Localization, Subtitling, Dubbing, AI Voice, and Voiceover services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across media and content localization markets. Key Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the Media, Entertainment, OTT, Broadcasting, Gaming, E-learning, and Corporate Content sectors. Promote and sell localization services including Subtitling, Closed Captioning, Dubbing, Voiceover, AI Voice Solutions, Transcription, and Content Adaptation. Build and maintain strong relationships with production houses, studios, OTT platforms, content owners, advertising agencies, and enterprise clients. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract closure. Collaborate with project management and production teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities. Attend industry conferences, networking events, webinars, and trade shows to expand the company's presence. Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline updates in CRM systems. Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field. 2–6 years of business development, sales, or account management experience within Media, Entertainment, Localization, Language Services, or Content Production industries. Strong understanding of Subtitling, Dubbing, Voiceover, AI Voice, Localization, and Content Accessibility services. Proven experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Experience using CRM tools and sales tracking systems. Preferred Qualifications Existing network within Media, Entertainment, OTT, Broadcasting, Gaming, or Localization industries. Experience selling AI-powered media solutions, synthetic voice technologies, or content automation services. Knowledge of multilingual content workflows and localization processes.
