• Deliver specialized instruction across core subjects such as literacy education, math, early childhood education, and social skills development.
• Utilize behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy methods to support positive student behaviors and classroom harmony.
• Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to support holistic student development.
• Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student growth and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP goals, behavioral reports, and compliance records to ensure transparency and accountability.

Skills

• Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, visual impairments, or hearing impairments.
• Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP processes, and educational compliance standards.
• Expertise in curriculum development tailored for diverse learners and familiarity with instructional design principles.
• Proficiency in learning technology tools, educational software, and assistive devices to enhance learning outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies for students with special needs.
• Experience in early intervention programs or preschool settings is highly desirable.
