Quality Control Technician Regular Full‑Time Huntersville, NC - Caldwell Huntersville, NC, US DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, effectively perform visual and dimensional inspection to determine the physical, mechanical and functional properties of finished Prolink conveyor belts; Assure the belts meet adherence to specification. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Inspect and measure finished and semi‑finished belts before customer delivery. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues from previous fabrication steps. Read and interpret drawings and special measurements; proficiency with a metric ruler/caliper required. Determine optimal belt sequence sizes and assemble shorter sequences into shipping lengths. Follow and record special customer instructions (e.g., labeling, wrapping, measurements). Maintain accurate records of tests and inspections, both physical and digital. Provide real‑time feedback to Fabrication and Quality Managers on Quality Control results. Ensure regular and predictable attendance; weekends as needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to meet company goals. Collaborate across departments to enhance productivity and quality.
