Job Description Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
