Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with expertise in corporate governance and shareholder activism to join their team in New York. Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application (New York preferred) and in good standing. Expertise and experience in securities law, corporate governance, and shareholder activism matters. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional deal teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Education JD or equivalent. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
