Overview NTB is proud to join the Mavis Tire family. We're looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Canton, OH area. About the Position As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. They also complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires. Qualifications Required: At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Two years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. An extensive toolbox of personal tools used for undercar repairs. Preferred: State inspection license(s). ASE Certifications: Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5). Physical Requirements Automotive mechanics must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements.
