IT Support Specialist

The City of Laddonia is now accepting applications for a part-time IT Support Specialist. Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following): Provide technical support for end-users via remote tools, and in-person assistance. Manage hardware setup, device imaging, and OS deployment across Windows, and mobile platforms. Support onboarding and offboarding workflows, including account provisioning in Active Directory. Configure and support email, VPN, and Wi‑Fi, printers. Maintain hardware and software asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and lifecycle management. Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles for the team. Maintain the cities website and presence on social media platforms. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: 1–3 years in an IT support or help desk role preferred. Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, PC hardware diagnostics, and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking (VPN, Wi‑Fi), and endpoint security tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of successfully passing a background check. Possess a high school diploma/GED. Possess a valid state driver’s license. Ability to lift, move, and install standard IT equipment (up to 25-50 lbs). Salary based upon experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Laddoniamo
