Production Manager

A growing manufacturer in the greater Boston area is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-performing production team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, meeting production targets, and maintaining high quality and safety standards within a designated production area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization. The Production Manager will partner closely with production leadership and cross-functional teams while coaching and developing staff to drive performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of production associates to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets Assign tasks based on team members’ skills to maximize efficiency and workflow Train incoming team leads on the ERP Production Module and ensure proper system utilization Provide training on standard operating procedures and safety protocols for new employees Monitor team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development support Ensure accurate transaction processing in company ERP to prevent inventory discrepancies Oversee completion and consolidation of batch orders in company ERP Qualifications Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding of production operations and workflow optimization Experience with inventory management and maintaining accurate stock records Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems preferred Knowledge of state and federal regulations and compliance standards Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
