We are looking for talented hospitality professionals who are looking for more than just the next gig. We want someone who wants to contribute in unique and fun ways alongside providing an amazing customer experience at our wine bar. In this role, you are more than a server but truly an integral part of the team, working across bar and kitchen staff and operational staff Tuesday thru Saturday, 20-25 hours a week, primarily after 2pm but may differ from time to time. The primary duties of this role is bar service (~85%) which includes: Interacting with customers to execute orders and provide storytelling of the WeRise mission and the winemakers we work withShared closing responsibilities with Assistant ManagerWorking private events (on or offsite). Content creation will be a small portion of this role (~10%)We want someone with an eye toward creativity to assist with real time content creation for our social media platforms.Other duties may also include (~5%): Assisting with packing wine clubWine deliveriesTeam meetingsOther projects as mutually agreed uponRequirementsGreet and seat guests in a friendly and timely mannerTake accurate food and beverage ordersPossess strong knowledge of wine to provide excellent recommendationsProvide storytelling about wines, winemakers, and the WeRise missionEfficiently serve food and beverages, ensuring timely deliveryProcess payments accurately and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelinesSet up and break down event spaces as neededProvide exceptional service to guests during events, including wine and food serviceAnticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requestsMaintain a positive and professional demeanor, even under pressureWork collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless executionQualificationsProven experience as a server in a restaurant or bar setting.Strong knowledge of wine, including basic wine tasting and pairing techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong storytelling skills to appropriately represent the brand and missionAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Valid MAST permitValid food workers permitTIPS certification (or willingness to obtain).Passion for wine and a desire to share that passion with others.Age 21+Must have a vehicle for off-site bar related tasks as needed.BenefitsCompetitive hourly wage plus tips401kShift drink and discounted mealsOpportunity to learn about wine from industry expertsA fun and rewarding work environment
