We are hiring a highly skilled Scala developer who will be responsible for building and maintaining Scala apps. You will use Scala to build, update, and examine various Scala-based application requirements for various systems, resulting in easier-to-use user interfaces. Main Responsibilities of a Scala Developer Your main responsibilities include:
• Estimation and analysis of requirements.
• Involvement in the technical development of our solutions.
• Taking part in code reviews.
• Maintaining awareness of the most recent developments in programming and technology.
• Taking part in our digital solutions' technical design.
• Generating technical documentation in collaboration with the product owner and other developers.
• Introducing optimization and executing code reviews to ensure quality of work. Key Requirements
• You have good experience in building and maintaining applications with Scala.
• Experience in developing Microservices and REST APIs using Akka/Scala.
• You possess a strong understanding of database, performance tuning, SQL queries, DB-related issues, Scripting, shell, Autosys, etc.
• You have strong programming skills in Java and Scala
• Good expertise in Unit Testing and System Testing using Scala/Java and Gatling.
• You have experience in Agile projects with knowledge in Jira
• Knowledge of microservices and API development.
• Spark and NoSQL experience is a plus.
• You can communicate efficiently with customer's key Business and IT folks to present/defend architecture/design
• You have excellent analytical skills, are a good team
