Ehs Administrator (Contract) (Leroy)

Reporting to the EHS Manager, the EHS Administrator will support the BHP Jansen Potash Mine project located in Leroy, SK. This is an on‑site contract position. Housing and travel accommodations are provided for candidates who are not local. Responsibilities Provide operational support and resources for the Health and Safety team. Upload project safety documentation to assigned SharePoint sites and maintain files for audit purposes. Organize, monitor, and manage statistical reporting for weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly data for corporate roll‑up and site tracking. Continuously update and revise reporting processes and methods. Maintain the corrective‑action database. Assist Health and Safety personnel in meeting reporting requirements and deadlines. Provide regular feedback to the Health and Safety Director on the status of site safety inspections and identify improvement areas. Assist in startup activities for new work areas or projects, including providing templates and documentation required for reporting and program maintenance. Assist new advisors and supervisors in complying with reporting and tracking processes. Promote an inclusive culture, equity, and career progression. Qualifications At least two (2) years’ experience in an administrative role within the construction industry (health and safety experience preferred). Safety‑related post‑secondary education is an asset. Experience with Power BI, Site Docs, Cority, ISN, and an Accident/Incident Management System is an asset. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills and report preparation experience. Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills. Ability to self‑motivate and work effectively with minimal direction. Effective organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines in a high‑pressure environment.
