** LOCATION: Onsite Role | Client Location: 11800 Weston Parkway Cary NC 27513
** DURATION: 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension
** WORK SCHEDULE: Training Schedule (Onsite):
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Permanent Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST
- Possible rotating Saturday once per month with a weekday off
- Initially fully onsite
- Hybrid schedule possible after 90–120 days if:
- Attendance expectations are met
- Performance metrics are achieved
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr. W2
Job Summary:
- The Customer Support Representative supports Pharmacy Operations by handling inbound and outbound patient calls, coordinating refill scheduling and deliveries, processing claims-related activities, and ensuring patients receive excellent customer support throughout the medication fulfillment process.
- This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, professionalism, and strict adherence to attendance and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound pharmacy-related calls
- Schedule medication deliveries and payment coordination
- Provide prescription status updates and general pharmacy support
- Respond to customer inquiries or route calls appropriately
- Maintain concise and accurate progress notes in internal systems
- Verify insurance information and assist with invoice requests
- Run medical claims and update patient records
- Escalate adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) appropriately
- Transfer patient concerns to pharmacists or nurses when needed
- Maintain strong customer service and professionalism standards
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred
- Active Registered Pharmacy Technician credentials required
- Minimum 1 year of call center experience
- Strong attendance and schedule adherence history
- Experience working with management information systems
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to show empathy and professionalism with patients
- Strong attention to detail
