A well-known consumer products company is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join its Fruit Business unit on a temporary basis, with strong potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate. This is an execution-focused role centered on project tracking, asset management, and cross-functional marketing support, reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager. A good fit for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands-on experience with a recognizable consumer brand.
Highlights
- Pay $32-34/hour
- Hybrid schedule, approximately 8 days per month onsite in NYC
- Contract to hire, with strong potential to become a full-time permanent role
- Initial schedule of 30-40 hours per week
- Direct exposure to brand management and cross-functional marketing execution
- Opportunity to build process ownership within a well-known consumer brand
- Support budget management by maintaining accurate offline tracking and data entry in partnership with Brand teams
- Manage deployment of go-to-market toolkits and brand artwork, ensuring guidelines are followed across all assets
- Serve as vendor management process owner for MSA/SOW expenses, including goods receipt and purchase order initiation
- Manage packaging artwork initiatives within the Esko system
- Develop, optimize, and deploy in-store merchandising tools to the field sales team
- 1+ years of experience as a marketing specialist, coordinator, or similar role
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
- Budget tracking experience desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; strong Excel skills required
- Familiarity with vendor management processes and systems (SAP) is a plus
