About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Strategic Business Partner with a strong background in business development and a focus on driving new revenue opportunities within a select group of larger customer accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing annual strategic business plans, building and maintaining senior executive client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to successful implementation. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in consultative, insight-focused, account-based selling, and the ability to promote the company's capabilities and solutions effectively. The VP will also be involved in market research, competitive analysis, and will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time. Applicants for the VP, Strategic Business Partner position at the company should have a BS in business, marketing, or a related field, with a preference for an MBA or MS. A minimum of 20 years of experience in business development, particularly within the life sciences or professional services sector, is required. The role calls for a candidate with excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills, as well as a strong ability to lead and mentor teams. Strategic thinking, adaptability, and a results-oriented approach are essential. The ideal candidate will be a student of the life science marketing industry, with a deep understanding of customer experience and engagement strategies, and will be adept at using data and metrics to drive decision-making.
