Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - MedSurg/ICU

Schedule:
Night Shift; 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.
- Evidence of current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months, including acute critical experience within the last 12 months, or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in good standing.
- MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire.
- MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended.
- Basic computer skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and ICU departments.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
- Adhere to all confidentiality regulations and hospital policies.

Compliance / Notes:

- Must conform with all HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations as required by the job, department, or hospital.
