Job Description
RN II - Emergency Department

Schedule:
Nights, 12 hours, 36 per week

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred
- Knowledge of age-specific care for patients: Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring age-appropriate assessment and interventions.
- Monitor patient conditions and interpret clinical data to address age-specific needs.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including patient histories, assessments, and treatment responses.
- Prepare, administer, and monitor IV fluids as needed.
- Handle emergency situations promptly and professionally, adhering to facility protocols.
- Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and provide reassessments as required.

Compliance / Notes:
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and education requirements as outlined by regulatory agencies.
- Adhere to professional and guest service behavior expectations while on hospital grounds.
