NOW HIRING: Material Service / Tugger Operator

Pay Rate – $17.75/hr

Armada Staffing Group is hiring dependable Material Service / Tugger Operators in West Jefferson, OH!

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $17.75/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Opportunities may include 4:00 AM–4:00 PM shifts

What You’ll Do

As a Material Service / Tugger Operator, you’ll help keep production running smoothly by making sure materials are where they need to be.

Operate a tugger to transport and sort materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing area
Use an RF scanner to locate and track materials
Deliver materials to the appropriate locations
Keep materials organized and production areas supplied
Follow safety procedures and proper material-handling practices
Inspect materials and equipment for potential issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality
Perform other material-handling duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Previous tugger, forklift, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred
Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
Comfortable using an RF scanner or handheld technology
Dependable and committed to excellent attendance
Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements

Steel-toe boots that cover the ankle
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to pass a drug test
Ability to lift 40+ pounds
Reliable transportation to West Jefferson, OH
