Job Description

The Marketing & Business Development Manager works with the Firm Administrator and the administrative department, and is responsible for firm marketing, including sales, prospective client retention, and client complaints. This position facilitates new business, develops sales protocols, collaborates with other sales personnel, and works alongside the Partners and Firm Administrator on marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

·         Works with the New Accounts Manager and is primarily responsible for onboarding new clients 

o   Primary contact for prospective clients

o   Scheduling initial prospective client meetings

o   Maintain follow-up contact with prospective clients

·         Works with the Firm Administrator to train administrative staff on sales and marketing techniques

·         Works with Firm Administrator on marketing strategy and marketing budget

·         Collaborates with Management Team on developing and maintaining community relations

·         Reporting

o   Provides marketing analysis to Partners and Management Team

o   Monitors internal statistical reports 

·         Attends Firm and community events 

Skills:

·         Knowledge of Sales and Marketing Techniques; experience with same

·         College degree or relevant business experience preferred

·         Experience or knowledge of the legal business (preferred, but not required)

·         Extensive customer service experience, working closely with clients and with the community

·         Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook, ability to learn new software programs

·         Effective listening, verbal, and written skills

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy

·         Effective organizational skills

·         Time management skills 

·         Analytical and problem-solving skills

This position is full time, in-person at our office in downtown Colorado Springs, with the potential for a hybrid Office/WFH schedule. Sound transportation required. Willingness and ability to work outside of standard office hours is necessary.
