Patient Care Technician

Patient Care TechnicianProvides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.Required Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.Minimum Qualifications: You may qualify for the position through one of the following ways:6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiverCompletion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN programCompletion of a Baycare approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program--that includes a program with a minimum of 40 hours hands-on patient care experience outside of a lab settingEMT certification and/or paramedic licenseEducation: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; may also qualify with a Certificate of CompletionFacility: BayCare Health System, Emergency Service-SJSLocation: St Josephs SouthStatus: Full Time, Exempt: NoShift Hours: 10:45 AM - 11:15 PMShift: DaysWeekend Work: Every OtherOn Call: NoHow often will this team member be working remotely?
