The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail preferrable with experience in Mexican Cuisine to help support the Chef in menu creation, upholding food safety standards and ensuring consistency and quality dishes are served.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
- Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
- Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff
Essential:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D or equivalent experience
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- 2 years cooking in a commercial kitchen
- 1 year supervisory or Sous Chef experience
