Machine Operator - Plastic Extrusion - $19-$20/Hour

Location: Aurora, OH
Pay: $19-$20 per hour
Shifts: 12-hour day or overnight shifts
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Employment type: Full Time
Start date: ASAP

We are hiring Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Aurora, Ohio. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, overtime opportunities, and benefits available upon hire.

Available Shifts

• 
  Day shift: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
  
• 
  Night shift: 8:00 PM-8:00 AM
  
• 
  2-2-3 schedule
  
• 
  Consistent scheduled days off
  

Job Duties

• 
  Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machinery
  
• 
  Monitor production processes and material flow
  
• 
  Inspect finished products for quality
  
• 
  Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
  
• 
  Make basic machine adjustments
  
• 
  Complete production and quality documentation
  
• 
  Assist with routine machine maintenance and cleaning
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  
• 
  Follow all safety and quality procedures
  

Requirements

• 
  One to three years of manufacturing, machine operation, production, or mechanical experience preferred
  
• 
  Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  
• 
  Ability to follow detailed work instructions
  
• 
  High school diploma or GED
  
• 
  Ability to stand for extended periods
  
• 
  Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  
• 
  Caliper or micrometer experience is a plus
  
• 
  Forklift experience is a plus
