Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,017–$2,041 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week Start date: 09/27/2026 Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital, telemetry unit Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients in a cardiac/telemetry unit, including ongoing assessment and rapid response to changes in condition. Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry readings, and respond to alarms to ensure patient safety. Administer prescribed medications and manage cardiac drip therapies per unit protocol (e.g., Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem) and support initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol when indicated. Assist with post-procedure care and procedures requiring TR Band management; document findings and plan of care. Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams; participate in care planning, rounding, and documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record. Maintain flexibility to float to other acute care units as needed and adhere to unit policies, including nicotine-free environment and other standard expectations.
