Civil Engineering Manager – Land Development
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Manager to lead land development projects and mentor a growing team of engineers and designers. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments while playing a key role in client relationships and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through construction
- Oversee site design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD staff
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
- Review plans, reports, and calculations for quality and compliance
- Support business development efforts and client retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of land development/site design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
