Compensation: $80K-$100K DOE

Our client is a well-established organization serving key industrial markets, including pulp and paper, industrial manufacturing, refineries, food processing end users, and engineering firms. As an Outside Sales Engineer , you will play a critical role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise and building lasting customer relationships across a defined territory. This position is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment and is passionate about delivering solutions to complex industrial challenges.


Responsibilities

• Quote, provide technical support, and manage projects involving vacuum pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, steam turbines, and condensers.
• Coordinate marketing efforts with manufacturers to align strategies and maximize market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships within target markets.
• Travel within the assigned territory a minimum of three days per week to meet with clients and prospects.
• Take ownership of customer needs by providing problem-solving, solution-oriented support.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background with demonstrated sales experience or a strong aptitude for sales.
• Experience in selling industrial equipment; a background in pulp and paper is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the systems and products being sold, including vacuum pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, steam turbines, and/or condensers.
• Understanding of both representation and distribution models is a plus.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with relevant customer bases within the target markets.
• Industry trade experience is welcomed.
• Strong communication skills with a high level of integrity and work ethic.
• Motivated, ethical, intelligent, and flexible with a solution-creating mindset.
• Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the sales territory.
