You will also have the opportunity to: Provide consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors and owners for building control and Mechanical Systems. Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Interface with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation. Provide industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting and building engineering community. Direct project financial responsibility is also important in the sales engineering position. Our customer base includes but is not limited to; data centers, hospital and healthcare facilities, government buildings, school districts, and higher education buildings. Some Qualities We're Looking For Exceptional writing and presentation skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Collaborative communications and interactive skills Ability to work independently and unsupervised Knowledge of DDC control theory, applications, and mechanical systems Background And Experiences That Will Set You Up For Success Degree in Engineering – Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are most common, but other disciplines are welcomed, too Building and/or Mechanical systems experience Professional business to business sales experience Knowledge of DDC Control Theory & Applications and Mechanical systems Job Details You Should Know Annual base salary range for entry-level candidates is $65,000-$80,000 Additional compensation in the form of commission and car allowance on top of base pay This is a full time, exempt position. Typical work days are Monday-Friday Local travel required up to 30% of the time with occasional out-of-state travel This position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project jobsites up to 50% of working hours. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder. Small repetitive motions and use of small tools is included.
