Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

Build our future together:Regeneron is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support Regeneron’s R&pD (Research and Preclinical Development), primarily Engineering and technical teams. In addition to operating as an HRBP, this role will also support projects within the client team. This role will report into the Director, HR Business Partner.At Regeneron, an HRBP develops solutions to solve business challenges in order to increase their ability to deliver on our mission - utilizing science to bring new medicines to patients. You will be partnering with other HRBPs, COE functions within HR, and other key stakeholders to provide support and counsel to the business managers / employees on organizational and people related issues. This will include talent acquisition & planning, onboarding and development, employee engagement, culture, performance management, and change management to promote and maintain REGN's high-performance culture, the Regeneron Way.Beyond the day-to-day, you will also help shape and deliver the broader HR strategic agenda for R&pD — translating business priorities into people initiatives that scale with a rapidly growing organization.Key to this will also be your ability to quickly develop trusted relationships with people at all levels within R&pD as well as a strong partnership with your Sr. HRBP's and COE partners. You have to be comfortable with challenging the status quo, influencing scientifically trained leaders and delivering key HRBP support in a fast-paced culture. Being able to pivot is key. This role acts as a champion and a coach for our expanding business.When & where:Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pmTarrytown, New YorkOnsite requirement: 4 days per weekDiscover your role:Partner with HRBP Leadership to identify and plan key HR work for the business functions, working across all client groupsWork with managers and employees to help solve employee relations and people-related challenges, keeping precedent and business needs in mind, including partnering with internal HR specialistsHandle conflicts, investigations, and employee grievancesCoach managers and employees, helping them understand their options in each situation and how to demonstrate the Regeneron WayParticipate in interviews for key positions and candidate debriefs to help drive the best hiring decisions in a rapidly expanding organizationOnboard new managers by partnering with hiring managers to facilitate and support a successful onboarding experienceIdentify individual and team needs within client areas and partner with the OD Consulting team to craft solutions that address business needs (e.g., team building)Partner with Total Rewards to define new roles, identify external comparable/market value of positions, and support other reward and recognition programsPartner with managers to support year-end performance calibrations as well as year-end compensation in WorkdayPartner directly with the VP, HR to advance a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives, translating enterprise priorities into actionable plans and driving them through to execution.This role requires:Bachelor’s degree, with a scientific or HR-related discipline preferred; an advanced degree such as an MBA or a Master’s in OD/IO or Human Resources is also preferred8+ years of direct HR experience, with experience working within the pharma/biopharma/biotech industry highly preferredAbility to quickly develop trusted relationships with peers and employees at all levelsComfort challenging the status quo in a growing team and influencing scientific and technical leadersLearning agility and comfort with a high level of ambiguityStrong analytical skills and experience using data to identify problems and deliver solutions that benefit employeesExceptional employee relations skills and experienceStrong project management skills highly desiredDoes this sound like you?
