We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support our purchasing team by coordinating vendor communication, tracking bids and purchase orders, and maintaining accurate system data. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our purchasing process runs efficiently and projects stay on schedule.

Compensation:

$50,000 - $55,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Follow up with subcontractors on outstanding bid submissions

• Track and maintain bid logs and vendor participation

• Communicate with vendors to clarify scope, pricing, and documentation

• Assist in gathering comparable supplier pricing

• Monitor and update purchase order approvals and revisions

• Maintain accurate records of all PO activity

• Add subcontractors to project schedules upon approval

• Coordinate with internal teams (Purchasing, Selections, AP) for updates and clarifications

• Ensure vendor contact information and documentation are up to date

• Support pricing documentation and cost tracking efforts

Qualifications:

• While prior experience in purchasing, construction, or administrative support is preferred, it is not required.

• The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• A high level of accuracy, follow-through, and accountability is essential, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
