Join Our Pulmonary Critical Care Team

We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to become part of our dynamic team, which includes two Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians and two Intensivists. This role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within an 18-bed ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in our inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Engage in teaching opportunities for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents, as well as medical students.
• Expand outreach for Pulmonary services across our network, which spans 14 counties.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Salary: Starting at $421,267 annually, plus production incentives.
• Bonus Package: Up to $150,000 available.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 to help with moving expenses.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Includes health, dental, and vision coverage, paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage, $6,000 for CME annually, two retirement plans, and a generous PTO policy.

About Our Medical Center

Our Pulmonology clinic and ICU are situated at a regional referral teaching hospital, recognized nationally as a Top 100 Hospital. The facility features 342 beds and provides easy access to a wide range of specialists, laboratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more.

With over 300 employed providers across various specialties, including primary care, cardiology, and neurology, our organization is a comprehensive health system serving 14 counties. Our Pulmonary Critical Care team caters to approximately 260,000 individuals who rely on us for their healthcare needs.

We are also a Level III Trauma Center, offering postgraduate education programs, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, as well as Cardiology Fellowships.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must be board certified or board eligible, with certification required within three years of eligibility.
• Completion of an accredited medical or osteopathic school and residency program.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Must be licensed or eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
