Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, which include gathering medical histories, performing physical examinations, and conducting diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that all patient care strategies align with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
• Perform various medical procedures and minor surgical interventions, under the supervision of attending physicians, such as suturing, administering injections, and conducting follow-up examinations.
• Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and necessary lifestyle changes to foster continued wellness and health management.
• Document all patient encounters meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files for effective continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals requiring elective surgeries, urgent care evaluations, and chronic disease management. Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Strong clinical skills and an ability to operate independently within the scope of practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with team members.
• A demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that aligns with our organizational values.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a surgical or urgent care setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to streamline patient documentation and communication processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
