We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team in The Woodlands, TX. About the Role

As a Senior Mammography Technologist, you'll play a key role in performing mammography exams with precision and care. You will support patients through their imaging experience while upholding the highest standards in image quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position works onsite during weekday daytime hours with occasional call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly.
• Ensure adherence to all radiation safety procedures.
• Monitor and update patient records and imaging data.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) checks and assist with accreditation processes (e.g., ACR).
• Participate in equipment upkeep and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with imaging teams to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Provide mentorship and serve as a resource to junior technologists.
• Participate in ongoing education and training requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and Mammography Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) license (or temporary license).
• Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R).
• Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M).
• Minimum 4 years of mammography experience.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients when needed.
• Strong commitment to safety, service excellence, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating staff scheduling.
• Familiarity with preparing for quality audits and joint commission inspections.
