Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with 8th and 9th-grade students in a dynamic, school-based setting. This role is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists with a background in pediatric and school SLP services who are ready to make a difference throughout a maternity leave period. The assignment is slated to run from mid-April through December 2026, offering stability and a meaningful professional experience.

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:25 am to 3:00 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. You'll deliver high-quality speech and language support, helping students develop critical communication skills that serve them for life. Collaborate with educators and families to tailor interventions and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Active SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP
• Previous experience working in school settings and with adolescent populations
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
• Passion for working with pediatric clients in an educational environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and diagnose speech-language disorders for students in grades 8 and 9
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs
• Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide both individual and group therapy in accordance with best practices
