Hours for this position are 3-4 days per week, allowing for a flexible work routine. The assignment centers on providing comprehensive speech-language support to students at the Marple Education Center, ensuring every learner receives customized interventions that make a real difference.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license in Pennsylvania
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience or interest in working with students with low incidence disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Skill in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to assigned students
• Complete evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary team assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals targeting communication, language, and social skills
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with program expectations
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings
