Director, Sales

Certus Pest

Purpose Drive consistent sales execution, technician sales performance, and operational alignment across the Pool Division by developing scalable sales programs, coaching branch teams, strengthening accountability, and creating standardized sales processes that improve closerates, repair sales, customer retention, and long-term revenue growth. This role serves as a key bridge between Branch Operations and Inside Sales leadership while building the foundation for future outside sales expansion.. Key Contributions Develops and executes scalable sales programs, branch initiatives, and technician sales strategies across all Pool Division locations. Leads sales training, field coaching, ride-alongs, and branch check-ins to improve technician sales effectiveness, close rates, and customer experience. Drives adoption, accountability, and consistency of sales processes, reporting standards, and operational execution across all regions. Partners closely with Inside Sales leadership and Branch Operations to align sales strategy, communication, customer handoff processes, and performance expectations. Supports branch-level revenue growth initiatives focused on repair sales, service upgrades, customer retention, and overall sales performance improvement. Establishes standardized sales metrics, reporting cadence, and performance visibility for branch leadership and executive teams. Identifies performance gaps, operational inconsistencies, and training opportunities, then implements corrective action plans and coaching strategies. Builds long-term infrastructure and operational readiness for future outside sales expansion within the Pool Division. Travels regularly to branches for operational alignment, leadership partnership, sales coaching, and team development. Success Metrics Achieve or exceed 100% of monthly and annual Pool Division sales growth targets across assigned branches and regions. Increase technician-generated sales revenue by = 15% year-over-year through coaching, process improvements, and sales training initiatives. Improve branch repair close rates by = 10% year-over-year across supported locations. Maintain = 95% compliance and adoption of standardized sales processes, reporting practices, and sales accountability standards across all branches. Ensure 100% completion of scheduled branch visits, ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and operational check-ins within established timelines. Achieve = 90% participation and completion rates for sales training programs across field and branch teams. Improve customer retention performance by = 5% year-over-year through enhanced sales execution, communication, and service alignment. Maintain = 90% positive feedback scores from Branch Managers, Operations leadership, and Inside Sales leadership regarding partnership, communication, and field support effectiveness. Reduce identified sales process inconsistencies and operational execution gaps by = 25% annually through standardization and accountability initiatives. Maintain = 95% accuracy and timeliness in sales reporting, forecasting, and branch performance tracking. Ensure 100% compliance with company policies, operational guidelines, and sales standards across all supported regions. Growth Impact Creates consistency and accountability across Pool Division sales execution, improving operational scalability and branch performance. Strengthens technician sales effectiveness and customer retention, directly contributing to revenue growth and profitability. Enhances collaboration between Inside Sales and Branch Operations, reducing communication gaps and improving customer experience. Establishes repeatable sales systems, coaching structures, and reporting standards that support future expansion and outside sales development. Drives long-term organizational alignment by harmonizing sales expectations, execution standards, and leadership accountability across all regions. Capabilities & Strengths Strong field leadership presence with the ability to coach, influence, and build credibility across branch operations and sales teams. Operationally minded sales leader capable of identifying process gaps, driving accountability, and implementing scalable improvements. Collaborative and relationship-driven communicator who partners effectively with executive leadership, Inside Sales, and branch operations teams. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent applicable leadership experience. 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, branch operations, or service-related revenue growth environments. Proven experience developing sales processes, coaching field teams, and driving measurable sales performance improvement across multiple locations. Preferred Qualifications Experience within pool, home services, pest control, HVAC, restoration, or other route-based service industries. Experience supporting technician-driven sales models, repair sales programs, or service-to-sales operational environments. Experience working in multi-state, high-growth, private equity-backed, or field-based operational organizations. Salary Description 120,000.00
