Job Overview Commerce media is one of the fastest‑growing segments in advertising, and Citi is bringing its powerful assets to launch a new media offering. With 70MM+ cardmembers, 6.5 billion annual transactions, and visibility across 700+ merchant categories, Citi has the scale, the trust, and the data infrastructure to compete at the highest level. Where retailers see spending only within their own ecosystem, Citi sees actual purchase behavior across the full customer wallet, spanning categories, merchants, and channels. That cross‑wallet visibility, combined with Citi's direct relationships with tens of millions of engaged, digitally active customers, creates a compelling foundation for advertisers who want to reach high‑intent audiences and measure real outcomes. We’re building Citi Ads, Citi’s Commerce Media business, and are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled MarTech Product Lead to help drive and implement best‑in‑class marketing data platforms and tools that support our Commerce Media business with data, content, orchestration and ad delivery capabilities. The individual in this role will inform, plan, and deliver on integrating a Customer Data Platform (CDP), LiveRamp, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Google Ad Manager (GAM) and marketing data lake (MDL). The product lead will partner closely with the Commerce media agile team across AdTech, audience composition, ad delivery and content management teams to scale onsite and off‑site advertising. The job requires a deep understanding of data, orchestration and the digital landscape and MarTech architecture. The product lead will work closely with stakeholders across marketing, analytics, risk, technology, product and design to deliver solutions for the Commerce Media business. Responsibilities Platform Ownership: Oversee Google Ad Manager, ensuring it meets business requirements, user needs, and performance expectations. Integrate data and content platform with Commerce Ad platforms (GAM, LiveRamp) to enable onsite and off‑site marketing. Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a strategic roadmap for Commerce Media capabilities in alignment with organizational goals and evolving marketing strategies. Tech Development: Steer the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the platforms, including data ingestion, data processing and enablement of audience using a Customer Data Platform (CDP). People Management: Oversee a direct and indirect team responsible for defining and driving the MarTech strategy and transformation in support of growth initiatives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from marketing, IT, and product teams to understand and fulfill digital content and experience needs. Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to prioritize, plan, and execute key platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and compliance standards. Optimization & Upgrades: Manage ongoing platform optimization, including regular upgrades, feature enhancements, and content performance tuning to achieve a high‑performing digital experience. Vendor Management: Lead RFPs, evaluate and liaise with third‑party vendors and support teams to ensure the efficient operation of the platform. Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage tools to monitor and optimize platform performance. User Support & Training: Provide guidance and training for content authors, designers, and developers to maintain consistent quality and usability standards across digital content. Governance & Compliance: Enforce governance policies around usage and permissions to ensure security, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations. Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi’s assets, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior and business practices. Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of experience in implementing and managing MarTech capabilities across data, offer, content and orchestration domains. Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketing technology architecture, backend systems, data dependencies, and front‑end interfaces required to implement and execute digital marketing campaigns. Product Management Skills: Customer‑centric and tech‑savvy product leader who has driven technical and operational teams to solutions that focus on delivering outstanding experiences supported by agile and efficient operational processes. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies; act as a change‑management champion, educating the marketing organization on how to leverage new capabilities. Platform Management Skills: Track, measure, monitor and manage the performance, availability and usage of MarTech platforms. Innovation: Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools and trends in the data domain and recommend solutions that enhance data platform capabilities and value. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for evaluating digital performance, user behaviors and platform metrics. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Education Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred Benefits Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $144,480.00 – $216,720.00. In addition to salary, Citi offers discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
