Pharmacy Technician
Life Tree Pharmacy is dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and compassionate pharmacy care with the personal attention of a family pharmacy. Our team delivers customized pharmacy solutions to a wide range of healthcare settings, including psychiatric hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, group homes, assisted living communities, and youth behavioral health programs.
Schedule: Full Time to include weekends and a potential weeknight
Position Responsibilities
- Supports pharmacists in the daily operations of the pharmacy.
- Packages medications according to standard procedures including blister cards, unit dose packaging, compliance packaging, and vial fill.
- Assists with maintenance of an adequate inventory of medications and other supplies.
- Prepares compounds per physician's order under supervision of a pharmacist.
- Labels prescriptions accurately, including informational labels, e.g. cautionary and auxiliary labels.
- Prepares medication for delivery to customers.
- Assists in maintenance and documentation of appropriate environmental controls in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Adheres to HIPAA and FDA regulations and also maintains a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
- Strives for compliance by all staff with internal controls and state and federal regulations.

The successful candidate will meet one of the following:
- Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
- Be at least 16 years of age
