Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgery Nurse Practitioner with Robotics experience to join our team for full-time coverage starting in September. The position offers a dynamic mix of operating room and medical surgical floor responsibilities, primarily assisting with general surgery, OB/GYN, and orthopedic patients. Responsibilities include wound cauterization, vessel management, patient positioning, suturing, hemostasis, and immobilization, as well as rounding, managing orders, discharges, and consults. The role involves flexible shifts including days, weekday call, weekend call, and occasional weeknight call, providing a versatile and engaging work environment.


Key details:

• Coverage: Full-time, starting August for initial coverage, extending through the end of the year
• Shift Types: Days (7a-3p), weekday call (7a-5p or 3p-11p), weekend call (Fri 5p-Mon 7a), and surgical first assist
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience, Robotics experience highly preferred
• Licensure: NY State License
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• Equipment & Charting: EPIC, Pixys medication system

Hourly Pay Rate: $131.32
