ASSISTANT PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Our goal is for people to grow, have hope, thrive in their community and feel like they belong. NFI North is seeking an Assistant Program Director for its Transitional Housing Program in Concord, NH. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults living with mental illness that are seeking independent living. Many of our participants get apartments and go to college with the support of our amazing staff team. Responsibilities Assist the Program Director in the overall functioning and operation of the program. Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and petty cash. Supervise staff. Provide group and individual counseling and crisis intervention. Coordinate with state hospital maintenance personnel for residence upkeep. Maintain on‑call responsibilities and be available on some nights and weekends. Qualifications Minimum of an Associate's Degree or 60 college credit hours; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in human services or equivalent. 3‑5 years of supervisory experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with a related population or service. Travel Required Possible day trips, occasional travel for conferences, training, meetings.
