Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN specialized in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Nashville, TN. This role involves working in a fast-paced surgical unit with a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Efficiently manage time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain post-op surgical procedure sites
• Provide wound care, including packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance
• Care for Foley Catheters and provide continuous bladder irrigation
• Change and maintain ostomy appliances
• Perform nasogastric tube insertion and suction
• Administer Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
• Perform blood administration
• Provide central line care and dressing changes
• Participate in bedside shift reports

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Current BLS certification
• Experience in post-op surgical areas such as vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, and colorectal
• Strong teamwork skills
