This critical access facility provides obstetric and gynecologic services across clinic and operating room settings, supporting the women's health needs of the regional community. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to ensure continuous on-site care delivery. Support resources include 1.5 employed FP/OB physicians and 24/7 anesthesia call coverage provided by a partner group; no APPs or CNMs are present in the OB service.

Des Moines, Iowa offers a range of attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. The area features the Pappajohn Sculpture Park, the Downtown Des Moines Farmers' Market, the Science Center of Iowa, and Blank Park Zoo, alongside over 800 miles of trails for walking and biking. Clinicians on assignment will also find options for outdoor recreation on local lakes and waterways, as well as entertainment venues including museums, breweries, wineries, and golf courses throughout the region.

Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through day shift, call, and 24-hour call assignments across clinic and OR settings at an on-site critical access facility in Iowa, structured on a one week on, one week off basis beginning as soon as possible. Clinical responsibilities include clinic and call coverage for adult patients, with a patient volume of 16-18 patients per day during clinic shifts and up to 2 patients per night during call. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:3 call ratio, and clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability throughout each designated coverage period. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
