About the Role We need a hybrid creator— someone who is just as comfortable lighting an interview as they are managing a post‑production timeline. You will be collaborating with our marketing, PR, and product teams to determine the videos we need to make and then you will be the one bringing it to life. Whether you are capturing a customer testimonial, creating eye‑catching motion graphics, breaking down a new software feature, or packing up your gear for our annual Empower conference, you will drive the process from the first storyboard to the final export. Location Hybrid: Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in‑office in Long Beach, CA. Remote work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Ability to work flexible hours when needed to accommodate traveling for marketing events. Key Responsibilities Operate the Gear: Primary shooter, managing and operating professional in‑house cinema camera configurations, lighting setups, and audio gear to capture pristine picture and clean sound. Direct Subjects: Make a nervous executive or a busy customer feel totally natural in front of the lens. Studio and Media Management: Responsible for equipment room and procurement recommendations. Own the digital pipeline—ensuring meticulous media organization, including ingesting footage, organizing project files, and archiving final content. Production: Comfortable carrying equipment, doing a bit of heavy lifting, and setting up cameras, lights, and grip gear on location. Photography: Set the tone for how the world sees us—coaching executives through premium headshots, gathering team photos that tell the story of why people love working here, and capturing moments at trade shows. Editing and Post‑Production – The Cut: Take raw interviews, b‑roll, and screen recordings and combine to form engaging product videos, social clips, and culture pieces. Brand consistency: Ensure everything published looks great and aligns with brand guidelines. Color grading and sound design: Use Adobe Premiere’s Lumetri color system and afford polished, professional look, layer in clean sound design and audio mixing. Motion graphics: Work with marketing team to create motion graphics to add excitement to the story. Storyboards: Pitch ideas and create boards to help map out the product story or emphasize customer benefits. Collaboration: Partner with designers, product managers, and communications team to align expectations and drive projects to completion. Metric‑driven story: Keep an eye on analytics and tweak elements like thumbnails, graphics, and captions to maximize viewership. About You – Essential Qualifications 3–5+ years of video production and editing experience; experience in B2B, SaaS, or tech companies a plus. Portfolio: Reel that shows lighting, audio capture, compelling narrative, and motion graphics examples. Software proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator. Organization: juggle multiple projects without missing deadlines. Team player: Video is a team sport; focus on best outcome even if pivoting from original idea. Salary Salary range: $75K–$95K, based on education, certifications, region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and years of experience.
