KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Senior .NET Application Developer foran immediate contract engagement with our client.

Job Description :

We Are Seeking a Senior .NET Application Developer to modernize and remediate legacy .NET web applications to meet stringent web accessibility and ADA compliance requirements. This role will perform accessibility audits of application code, identify barriers, develop and implement remediation solutions, and ensure applications conform to WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA and ADA Section 508 standards. The consultant will combine advanced .NET development expertise with strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, CSS, Telerik UI, accessible PDF generation, automated accessibility testing, AI-assisted engineering, and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive accessibility audits of legacy .NET web applications and application code to identify accessibility issues and compliance gaps.
• Plan, prioritize, and implement systematic remediation of accessibility issues across complex C#/.NET applications.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Telerik UI, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Review and remediate front-end interfaces to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA, WAI-ARIA authoring practices, and ADA Section 508 requirements.
• Conduct accessibility testing using automated and manual testing methods, including NVDA, WAVE, Claude AI, and other applicable tools.
• Evaluate applications for semantic structure, keyboard accessibility, screen-reader compatibility, responsive design, cross-browser behavior, and other accessibility requirements.
• Audit legacy PDF report generation code and modernize reporting workflows to produce fully accessible and compliant PDF documents.
• Develop accessible PDF output using .NET-based PDF libraries, including appropriate tag trees, alternative text, reading order, structural elements, and properly identified table headers.
• Convert legacy PDF reporting functionality into accessible, dynamically generated PDF reporting solutions within existing .NET application workflows.
• Apply modern web development standards and responsive design patterns while maintaining compatibility with enterprise application environments.
• Leverage enterprise AI development tools, including GitHub Enterprise Cloud Copilot and Anthropic Claude, to accelerate accessibility auditing, code analysis, refactoring, documentation, and test generation.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to identify potential accessibility issues and support systematic code remediation.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, or comparable technologies.
• Follow established Git workflows, branching strategies, build processes, release procedures, and release engineering practices.
• Collaborate with development, QA, accessibility, and technical teams to validate remediation efforts and ensure accessibility requirements are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document accessibility findings, remediation activities, technical solutions, testing results, and application changes.
• Support ongoing modernization efforts by identifying opportunities to improve application maintainability, accessibility, performance, and development practices.

Required Skills
• 7+ years of experience with .NET Core / .NET.
• 8+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core, including MVC, Razor, and Web API, and C# enterprise development patterns.
• Deep proficiency in native JavaScript (ES6+), modern CSS including Flexbox, Grid, CSS Variables, and SCSS, and semantic HTML5.
• Expert understanding of W3C web standards, cross-browser performance optimization, and responsive design patterns.
• Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA guidelines, WAI-ARIA authoring practices, and ADA Section 508 compliance.
• Hands-on experience developing accessible PDF output using .NET PDF libraries, including proper tag trees, alternative text, reading order, structural elements, and table headers.
• Experience testing web accessibility using tools such as Claude AI, NVDA, and WAVE.
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) Copilot and Anthropic Claude, including Claude Code, API, or enterprise interfaces.
• Proven experience with CI/CD automation, pipeline configuration using GitHub Actions and/or Azure Pipelines, Git workflows, and release engineering.
• Strong understanding of accessibility remediation within complex enterprise C#/.NET applications.
• Strong ability to analyze application code, identify root causes of accessibility issues, and implement effective remediation solutions.
• Strong understanding of accessible web interface development, semantic markup, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to work with legacy application architectures while implementing modern development, accessibility, testing, and DevOps practices.
