Associate Engineer (Civil) - Remote

Engineer IThe Engineer I is part of a unit designing excavation shoring projects, working under a Professional Engineer. Ensures that engineering design, complies with the project objective and contractual requirements i.e. project schedule, company standards, and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign excavation shoring plans.Provide advice and assistance to personnel on all matters about engineering.Solve customer needs with equipment rented and designed by NTS.Communicate with Sales on the best solution for the customer's needs.Plan, schedule, and provide work direction when required for preparation of designs, processes, and related data.Bring elements of a project together, makes certain that all elements proceed satisfactorily on schedule and initiates corrective action as required.Other responsibilities as assigned.Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.Knowledge of Microsoft Office.Knowledge of statics and mechanics of materialsAnalytical problem-solving and presentation skillsCommunication - verbal and written.QualificationsA bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering Associated classes: Statics, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Foundations, or Geotechnical DesignWhy Work for NTS?We offer a competitive salary with a generous and comprehensive benefit package, including:Excellent medical, dental, and vision plans401(k) retirement plan with company match and immediate vestingTeam Ownership Program (TOP) grants an annual stock award to every active full-time employee.
