Description – What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Assist with specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and ensure the lab meets quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
