Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to set up and operate a Eurotech Twin Turret/Spindle Lathe equipped with a Fanuc Controller. The role involves completing first article inspections using micrometers, calipers, and head gauges, and operating primarily on stainless steel material around 6 inches in length while maintaining specifications within a tolerance of +/- 1 thousandth of an inch. Additionally, you will serve as a resource to newer machinists, sharing your expertise to help develop future talent in the field.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Eurotech Twin Turret/Spindle Lathe with a Fanuc Controller.
• Complete first article inspections using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and head gauges.
• Work primarily with stainless steel material, maintaining specs within +/- 1 thousandth of an inch.
• Mentor and provide guidance to newer machinists to help them develop their skills.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with lathe machines, particularly setting up and operating Twin Turret/Spindle Lathes.
• Comfortable working with Fanuc controllers, Haas, Eurotech, G&M codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and set up machines effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possessing a teacher/leader mindset is crucial for success in this role.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
