Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support a fast-paced accounting team in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and working with accounting software in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payment requests, and accounts payable transactions
• Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Enter and verify financial data within company accounting systems
• Maintain accurate records, files, and supporting documentation
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries
• Assist with annual physical inventory counts and periodic audits
• Generate and review reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Support general accounting and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or accounts payable environment
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar platforms
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, and data analysis
