CNC Machinist

Position Description:


Be able to produce high quality machined parts using various types of machine tools.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Must be proficient in reading blueprints.


• Be able to verify conformance of finished work pieces by using measuring instruments common to the machinist trade.


• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.


• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.


• Must be hard working.


• Must be reliable.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Job Requirements:


High School Diploma or Equivalent.


Must have at least 2-year experience in a machine shop environment, production and/or job shop.


Have a good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.


Must have math skills, measuring skills, and Blueprint reading skills.


CNC Set-up and Operation experience is a PLUS.


Able to work independently and responsibly.


Must be resourceful and a self-starter.


Available to work 2nd Shift of necessary.


Schedule:


8 hour shift


Day shift


Monday to Friday
