Full-Time Administrative Assistant Opportunity

Join our Hilo office as a full-time Administrative Assistant. This role is suited for a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who excels at multitasking and maintaining an organized workspace. Exceptional phone etiquette and strong computer skills are required. The ability to get along well with colleagues while remaining self-motivated and solution-oriented is essential.

Work Schedule: Standard shift runs from 8:00am to 4:30pm in Hilo.

What you will do:

• Handle front-line communications by answering and routing phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Perform routine desk duties, including drafting and formatting documents, data entry, and email correspondence.
• Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring documents are filed accurately and can be retrieved quickly.
• Manage scheduling tasks—book appointments, coordinate calendars, and confirm meetings with staff and clients.
• Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone, addressing inquiries and escalating issues appropriately.

Qualifications and training: Candidates should have demonstrable customer service experience and be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Outlook. While training will be provided for our specialized industry software, applicants must bring a baseline of computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new systems. Strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, and a proactive attitude are must-haves.
