Plant Engineering ManagerThe Plant Engineering Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment to maintain proper functionality and efficiency. This position is responsible for researching and developing new designs and projects to improve manufacturing processes, proposing budgets for projects, and overseeing all the activities related to each project.Shift: Monday - Friday 40 Hours Per Week5% Travel.This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.ResponsibilitiesPropose and manage budgets for projectsPlan and execute strategies for completing projects on timeResearch and develop designs and productsManage and develop othersPartner with various departments and leadership to ensure support of projectsProvide clear and concise instructions and training as neededQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in engineeringMust have at least three (3) years of work experience in an engineering functionPreferred Qualifications:Have a bachelor's degree or higher in EngineeringHave at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teamsHave prior work experience using timekeeping systemsHave at least three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facilityAbout UsAt Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
