Development Director

Leading fundraising initiatives, the full-time Development Director will manage donor relationships, plan special events, and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the mission of teaching children who are deaf or hard of hearing, working remotely from New York. Key responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive traditional fundraising plan, cultivating individual, corporate, and foundation donors Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, managing logistics and volunteer engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and corporate partners Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development, preferably in a nonprofit setting Demonstrated track record of meeting annual fundraising goals Experience organizing fundraising events and managing volunteers Proficiency in donor management software
